- Jim planned on taking a late flight out of the city. He wasn't sure whether it would be possible because it was snowing quite hard. In the end the flight was cancelled because there was ice on the runway.
- Madison couldn't find her books anywhere. She looked in her room, but they were not there. She looked on a bench in the hall, but they were not there either. The phone rang and Madison answered it. It was her friend Kate. Madison left her books in Kate's car when she drove home.
- Jeremy studied late into the night. When his alarm clock went off in the morning...He accidently knocked it of the table. The clock broke into many pieces, but Jeremy quickly fell asleep again. When Jeremy finally woke up, he missed the test by an hour.
- Harry is planning a surprise party for his friend Bob. Bob thinks that no one remembers his birthday. Harry will invite Bob over to work on a project for their science class. He will also secretly invite many of their friends. Instead of study they will surprise Bob with a party.
- Several coworkers were playing a friendly game of Soccer. Allen hit the ball towards the goal...the ball flew pass the goal and into the street. Allen went into the street after it and a car almost hit him. Allen said "he was sorry" to the driver and took the ball up. The driver waved at him and smiled as he drove away.
- Two friends Mike and Susan are working home on a snowy winter evening. Susan slips on the ice and falls to the ground. Mike helps her stand up and ask for "if she is heart". Susan feels her legs and discovers that she is not hurt. They walk home without falling again.
- Alisha always enjoyed music. When she was six, she started learning the Piano. At school she learnt to play the Villon. When she was sixteen Alisha was accepted in the community Orchestra. Now she was studying music when she goes to the University.
- Alison had a lot of experience and a good education. However, when she started her new job...she thought like she didn't know anything. Her coworkers told her...that was normal at the beginning. After a few months Alison was much more confident.
- Jessica took a walk through the park with her new camera. She saw a red and black bird land on the flower. It stood very still, so Jessica took a picture of it. When the camera went click...the bird flew away.
